Ball Milling Enabled Reactivity of Manganese Metal now on ChemRXiv

Our studies on the unique reactivity afforded by ball milling manganese metal is now online at ChemRxiv. This study explores and demonstrates that ball milling of manganese is essential to enable the reductive dimerisation of alkenes.

A Ball Milling Enabled Cross-Electrophile Coupling now on ChemRXiv

Two online for Andy today!
Andy, Will and Jamies paper on the use of a ball mill for cross-electrophile coupling is now online at ChemRxiv. This manuscript describes the ability to forge C(sp3)-C(sp2) bonds using nickel catalysis, without the requirement for rigourously inert conditions and independant of the form of zinc reductant.
